Species SeaChoice have designated as “Priority Species” enter the supply chain via fisheries and aquaculture operations that have sustainability challenges.

These issues can be addressed by making operational management changes, as identified by us and our partner organizations. Each priority species profile summarizes known challenges and solutions, and highlights our strategies to improve the species’ sustainability.

SeaChoice and its partner organizations have been engaged in improving fisheries and aquaculture operations for more than a decade. Each SeaChoice team member and partner organization brings specific knowledge, history and expertise to the group. Our approach to improve the sustainability of each species varies, since each has unique issues and challenges.
