Smoked Tuna Delight
No ordinary tuna melt.
This recipe is courtesy of a Finnish-French culinary team.
- Your favourite bread. Baguette works great.
- 1 can of troll-caught, smoked, albacore tuna.
- 8 sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 sliced avocado
- Brie or Camembert cheese
- Sweet mustard or dijon (to taste)
- Mayonnaise (to taste)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme
- Pepper (to taste)
- Optional: Pineapple chunks.
First, slice your baguette and add a thin layer of mayonnaise and mustard.
Next, decorate your sandwich with slices of cherry tomatoes and avocado (and pineapple if desired).
Add smoked tuna.
Cover the tuna with about 4 slices of Brie or Camembert cheese.
Place in oven and broil until the cheese has melted.
Once out of the oven, sprinkle with pepper and fresh herbs.
