Volunteer Opportunities
Have skills and looking to make a difference? Get involved by volunteering for SeaChoice! Our wonderful volunteers have helped us with design needs, event functions and much, much more. SeaChoice is currently looking for volunteers to work with our retail partners to help with the promotion of ocean-friendly seafood. If you are interested in joining our team and you live in a community that has a SeaChoice partner retail store, contact us with your interest. We will supply you with seafood guides to distribute to customers and you can help to make a difference by pointing customers in the right direction to choosing their seafood responsibly. info@seachoice.org
Job Opportunities
SeaChoice Assessment Contractor
SeaChoice is developing a list of individuals who are interested and available in conducting SeaChoice assessments in 2012-2013.
Qualifications:
- knowledge of fisheries and/or aquaculture science
- knowledge of fisheries and/or aquaculture management
- understanding of sustainable seafood certifications
- excellent writing skills
A minimum of a BSc. is required, with at least three years experience in Fisheries Science. Individuals with a MSc. or Phd. are preferred.
